Preceding him in death are his parents; Sherman and Florence Lackey May and four brothers; Bill, James, Thomas and Willis May.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 37 years, Patricia Ann May, his three sons; Blackburn “BJ” (Carol) May, Steven (Sabrina) May and Michael (Jessica) May and four grandchildren; Rebecca, Joseph and Alex May and Christian Mullins. He is also survived by his siblings; Ronnie (Carol) May, Wanda Moore, Ellis (Rita) May, Wilma (Clarence) White, Eunice (Bernard) Aldridge, Julius “Buck” May, Glendine (CW) Williams, Connie (Woody) Hodge, Sherman Jr. (Eva) May, seven brother and sisters in law, thirty seven nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church in Dingess on Thursday, July 25th at 11:00am with Albert and Tommy Dials officiating. Burial will follow at the Lackey Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday, July 24th after 4:00pm, with church services at 7:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, 龙8龙8娱乐appapp.
